Wartime Yugoslavia. A small child, fleeing the fascist unit that killed his parents and burned their village, finds shelter in the house of a stranger — an Albanian named Nur Doka. The child is Christian, Nur is Muslim, and in wartime Yugoslavia that difference often marked the line between life and death. With his home under siege, Nur must choose between handing the boy over and risking his own family to save him.

Musician and podcast producer with dozens of shows to his name as editor, engineer and head of production. Founded Octopod Productions to bring good sound to a wider world, and now produces the company's documentary slate. Loves to compose and perform, especially with more than a few jazz chords.

Journalist and documentary director. Reported for Croatian National Television across six programmes before turning to film. Director of the feature documentary and series Ciklus, whose episodes ran over 400 times on the film channel Klasik TV; of the HRT docuseries Poštari, distributed worldwide through Echelon Studios; and of the shorts U potrazi za gradom, Tržnica Dolac, Karantena, Povjerenici Dinamo, Manje je više and Kretanje, all screened at numerous festivals. Frequently his own writer, cinematographer and editor.
